Upbeat perseverance with a personal touch would describe working with Ivy in the sale of our casa in San Miguel de Allende. From the first listing meeting to closing Ivy , and her able assistant Maribel Felix, walked us through the various processes, were there for us if we had questions and promptly kept us informed on feedback after each showing. Our timing in placing our casa on the market wasn’t the greatest, but Ivy was our cheerleader at times of slim prospects when we needed positive reinforcement. Having a realtor who was always there for you, and one who interacted with you more as your friend than her client, was priceless. We have highly recommended Ivy to our friends and would not hesitate to recommend her to others.

My husband and I listed our house with Ivy del Pozzo barely a week before Covid-19 closed San Miguel real estate offices. Our plan was to sell our existing house in Colonia San Antonio, find a larger house that would better meet our needs, then relocate permanently from the US to SMA. Given the pandemic, however, it looked like our plan was going to be delayed at least a year. Then again, we’d just met Ivy del Pozzo. While the coronavirus was literally shutting down the world, Ivy remained in constant contact with us; she produced a virtual tour of our house, advertised it, sent us potential buyer comments (good and bad). Six months later, Ivy brought us an offer we couldn’t refuse, along with the buyer’s need for a quick close. Surprised by the speed with which our house had sold, Gerry and I hadn’t given thought to a new home. But Ivy had. All those hours on the phone, all those emails – Ivy had come to know us well. On a very quick trip to San Miguel, Ivy met us armed with a list of nine properties to consider. We bought our dream house that evening. But Ivy del Pozzo is more than a consummate real estate professional; she is a warm, funny, extremely interesting woman with an infectious laugh, whom we are fortunate to call friend.

It is with great pleasure to recommend Danna Lazcano as a realtor. Danna has been a wonderful and trust worthy advisor. She showed us only homes within our budget, taking in account our priorities . She was patient, knowledgeable and flexible as we tried to sort through our options. She was accommodating to my schedule - and kept us calm and informed through out the whole process. When we were back in the States, she kept us informed by phone and email the whole way. When we were here for the closing, her calm demeanor and great ability to communicate help us through the red tape and paperwork. I recommend her highly.

We just moved here last month. We had an incredible real estate agent that went far above and beyond to make our move as smooth and easy as possible. She provided us with groceries, meals, kitchen supplies, towels, sheets etc so that we could live in the house comfortably before the furniture arrived. She drove us around town many times introducing us to restaurants and stores, found us a gardener and housekeeper, assisted and interpreted for us as we set up home with various services. Introduced us to locals, helped with interior design ideas, arranged for storage and delivery services. I cannot recommend her highly enough - Sharon Des Jardins.

When I met with Danna to show her my house, she kindly talked to me about the sale process, the Real Estate Market in San Miguel and the suggested asking price. It was only one month after I Iist my house when Danna called me to let me know she had a buyer!

The team of Ivy Del Pozzo and Danna Lazcano has been amazing in the sale of my house. They both were instrumental in making sure it was set at the right price, publicized just right, and was ready for showings. Then Danna took on the day-to-day work of the open house and being present at each showing. Communication was excellent, always letting me know exactly what was going on even when I was a thousand miles away. My questions were all patiently answered. And, BOOM! My house was sold within a month.

My husband first came to San Miguel in 1969 after college and fell in love with the town. In 1999, we came on our honeymoon and have been coming back ever since.
